To cater for the wide variety of hollow tubular pipe forms that are cast in this department, extensive shell core making capacity that is capable of high production output is available from a range of core-blowing machines. In addition to manually operated, free standing and rig mounted dies, a number of automatic and semiautomatic Tilt Pouring machines are used. These machines offer very good production rates giving consistent casting quality for parts ranging in finished weight from a few kilos up to 20 kilos
